Sport air filter

The sport air filter is the ideal marriage of motor sport technology (up to 40% more airflow than conventional filters) and cost-effectiveness (the filter can be rinsed out and used again). The high airflow leads to an improvement in acceleration, petrol consumption and engine output (on average, an increase in output of up to 5%, Golf GTi 4 hp). The sport air filter is encased in the original filter box, thus replacing the paper filter.

Replacement air filters are TÜV-tested (German equivalent of the MOT). They do not have to be included in the vehicle documentation. Servicing is only needed every 80,000 to 160,000 km. Manufacturer air filter warranty for 1,500,000 km or 10 years (covers production defects and material defects).
